Coca Cola Chalk Board Menu Sign

This was a quick project since we had the red and white paint out, as well as the stencil. So quick we forgot to snap a photo of the original find. While doing a larger project we slapped a coat of red over a drab green of the original sign we picked up at a garage sale. The existing worn black trim and chalk area was masked off and left as is. The sign was nothing special but we knew it had the potential of being an accent piece for our larger project. Hard to pass these up at garage sales when you find them for a dollar or two.

Once the red paint was dry we taped down our stencil and shot the lettering in white.

If you like the color and can't afford to buy the specialized Coca Cola Red, and also their White look at RUSTOLEUM.

We use:

RUSTOLEUM Gloss Sunrise Red (Rolled on with foam roller) RUSTOLEUM Gloss White # 7592 (Sprayed over stencil) When everything is completely dry we foam roller a coat of exterior clear Polyurethane to seal and protect everything. Try to use a formula that states it has UV protection
